Shew is the collective mame for Eileen Healy and her collaborating friend Sabine Weissbach. Sabine is from Germany but settled in Cork where she met Eileen at the 1998 Cork Art Trail.After discovering they shared a similar interest in abstract painting they decided to collaborate. This initially took place at Eileens studio but since then they have gone onto create their combined work on residencies around the country, e.g;Roches Point Lighthouse, The Tyrone Guthrie Centre and more recently Cillriallig in Ballinskelligs. Their work has been shown at The Vangard Gallery, U.C.C. The Lavitte Gallery and Tig Fili. |
